2006 Nagano Marathon - Finish line

Congratulations to all participants in the 2006 Nagano Marathon! About 85 foreign athletes participated in the event. The organizers would like 200+ foreign athletes to participate next year, so tell everyone you know about this fantastic race! I'm planning to volunteer with the marathon again AND run, too! See you at the finish in '07!

Full size of each photo is about 8 inches (20 cm) wide and 72 dpi. If you are one of the athletes pictured here & would like an original copy, please send me an e-mail & I'll get it off to you. A 5 megapixel camera was used; original photos measure about 36" wide by 24" high (91cm X 69 cm) which is too big to put here. Most of these photos have been cropped & touched up a bit. All finishers of the Nagano Marathon receive a finisher's towel like the one above. Medals are given to the race winners only.

After crossing the finish line and before exiting the stadium you may see your country's flag hanging on the fence.
